At its core is the patent-pending Five-Chamber Carbon Helix® design, which provides more than six times the air-to-carbon contact time of conventional holding tank vent filters. This increased contact time allows the activated carbon to more effectively capture odor-causing gases, improving odor removal efficiency and helping extend filter life.

Inside, a proprietary blend of two specially selected activated carbons targets hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) — the source of the familiar “rotten egg” smell — along with other sewer odors produced by marine holding tanks. The result is exceptional odor control and extended service life.

Unlike conventional disposable filters, the Nautilus Filter® PRO is easily refillable and reusable, reducing waste and long-term replacement costs while keeping your vessel smelling fresh.

A built-in silicone air-flow bypass valve allows additional air into the holding tank during aggressive pump-outs, helping protect the tank from collapse while ensuring that outgoing vent gases continue to pass through the activated carbon.

Installation is straightforward. The kit includes hose fittings, stainless steel hose clamps, and mounting screws for a quick, secure installation. Other sizes of hose barbs are available at no charge upon request.
