When other Holding tank vent filters failed us in just a couple of months, we set out to design a completely new solution that not only 100% eliminated holding tank odors but would last well into a second boating season.
The kit had to come with everything needed and be very easy to install.
We also wanted the ability to easily refill this filter with our proprietary activated carbon blend saving the significant replacement cost and eliminating the plastic waste that comes with purchasing a whole new unit each season.

Nautilus Carbon Refill Kit

The Nautilus Filter uses a proprietary blend of Specialized Activated Carbons specifically targeting gasses (mostly H2S) and odors produced in a holding tank.
Through extensive testing, these Specialized Activated Carbons were chosen and blended together. The Nautilus Filter has the best odor removal efficiency and longest lasting performance available.

With a strong background in activated carbon air filtration from earlier products developed for the US Military, we set out to really improve the performance and ease of use of these holding tank vent filters. we also intended to design the system to be able to be refilled with our special blend of activated carbons.

Nautilus Filter Kit comes with all the bits and pieces you need for a complete install. Included are two sets of hose barb discs, for the two most common size holding tank vent hoses (5/8" and 3/4") and if you find that you have another size, we will quickly ship it to you for free. Also included are two stainless steel hose clamps and also 316 stainless mounting screws, including extra, incase you drop one in the bilge (abyss).

I have had other brands of these filters installed on my trawler before but they have not lasted very long.
